This weekend, I turn 64. And rather than celebrate with fanfare, I’m feeling a deep sense of gratitude and reflection. Each year, I become clearer about what truly matters in my life—and what doesn’t. I haven’t lived an extraordinary life in the headline-making sense. But I’ve lived one full of intention, resilience, love, and growth. And to me, that’s what counts most.
What I Hold Most Dear
My Health and Physical Well-Being: I treat my body with respect and appreciation. I move with purpose, eat with awareness, and prioritize strength and vitality—not to chase youth, but to honor this season of life and feel alive in it.
My Family: Family has always mattered to me, but as I get older, their presence becomes even more meaningful. They are my roots and my heartbeat. The moments we share, the stories we pass on, and the unconditional love we give—these are priceless.
True Friendships: I’ve come to realize I don’t need a large circle of friends—just a few true ones who really know me. The ones who show up, laugh with me, hold space when needed, and grow alongside me. These relationships enrich my life more than I can say.
My Real Estate Career: Real estate has given me a purpose far beyond transactions. For nearly three decades, I’ve had the honor of guiding people through meaningful life transitions—buying homes, selling properties, and building futures. I still love the challenge. I still chase the details. I still care deeply.
Staying Mentally Sharp: Keeping my mind active is non-negotiable. I read, study, stay informed, and stay ahead in my field. But more than that, I stay curious. Because curiosity is what keeps us vibrant—at any age.
So, no, I haven’t done anything extraordinary by the world’s standards. But I’ve shown up. I’ve worked hard. I’ve stayed true. I’ve made mistakes along the way—of course I have. But I’ve also made the decision not to make them twice. I’ve learned, grown, and continue to evolve. And I’ve made the quiet, daily choice to keep becoming the best version of myself.
Here’s to 64—full of presence, purpose, and peace.
