There are moments in real estate that remind me this business is about so much more than contracts, negotiations, and closing dates.

Friday evening was one of those moments.

I had the pleasure of hosting my very first client appreciation event in downtown Healdsburg, and as I reflect on the evening, I’m feeling incredibly grateful for the community of clients, friends, and colleagues who have supported my business throughout the years here in Sonoma County.

The event was held at the beautiful The Harris Gallery – A Father and Son’s Collection, a truly special space owned by my client and friend. If you’ve never visited, it’s an incredible gallery that showcases a thoughtfully curated collection of art, and as if that wasn’t enough, the Harris family also produces their own wine—making it the perfect setting for an intimate evening in true Healdsburg fashion.

Guests arrived in the early evening and were welcomed with wine, beautifully curated bites, and the kind of relaxed atmosphere that makes Sonoma County gatherings feel so effortless and memorable. Savvy Catering created a wonderful spread of food that was both elegant and approachable, exactly what I had envisioned for the evening.

White roses were placed throughout the gallery, adding a soft and timeless touch to the setting, while live music from Jacob Benning created the perfect backdrop for conversation, laughter, and reconnecting with so many wonderful people.

One of my favorite parts of the evening was gifting each guest a curated gift as a small token of appreciation. It was important to me that everyone left feeling celebrated because this event was truly about them.

As real estate professionals, we often move quickly from one transaction to the next. We celebrate accepted offers, inspections completed, and successful closings—but we don’t always pause long enough to simply say thank you.

This evening was my opportunity to do exactly that.

To my past clients who trusted me during major life transitions, to my current clients who are navigating exciting new chapters, and to those who continue referring friends and family to me year after year—I am deeply grateful. Your trust means everything.

I’m also incredibly thankful for the people behind the scenes who helped make the evening possible.

A special thank you to Bonnie Burnett and Hayley Hand, two of our wonderful supporting agents who warmly greeted guests and helped create such a welcoming experience from the moment people arrived.

And thank you to Sela Brenner, my marketing director, who played such an important role in helping prepare for the event in countless ways. As with most things, there’s always so much happening behind the scenes, and I’m incredibly appreciative of her support.

Most importantly, I cannot thank the Harris family enough for opening their gallery and allowing me to host such a meaningful evening in their beautiful space. Their generosity helped create an event that felt warm, personal, and uniquely reflective of what makes Healdsburg so special.

What I loved most was simply looking around the room and seeing happy clients enjoying themselves—talking, laughing, sipping wine, admiring art, and connecting with one another. It was a reminder that real estate, at its core, is a relationship business. The homes we help people buy and sell matter deeply, but the relationships built along the way matter even more.

After nearly three decades in Sonoma County real estate, I never take that trust for granted.

This event reminded me how fortunate I am to do what I love in a place I love. Healdsburg has always been about community for me, and Friday night felt like a beautiful reflection of that spirit.

My hope is that this becomes an annual tradition—one that continues to grow each year and gives me the opportunity to celebrate the incredible clients who have become such an important part of my life and business.

To everyone who attended—thank you for spending your evening with us.

And to those I hope to work with in the future, this is one of the many reasons I love calling Healdsburg and Sonoma County home.

Because real estate is never just about property.

It’s about people. It always has been.
